In The Aftermath Of An Illegal Concert Violating The Health Process, The Management Of Cibis Park Was Fined Rp. 50 Million

JAKARTA - The management of Cibis Park, Pasar Minggu has paid an administrative fine of Rp. 50 million in the aftermath of an unlicensed music concert that caused crowds and without health protocols on Saturday, May 1.

That was the statement by the Head of South Jakarta Satpol PP Ujang Harmawan after being met at the checkpoint at Pasar Friday, South Jakarta, Thursday, May 6. "We impose administrative fines on the organizers and also management according to Perda 3 of 2021 amounting to Rp. 50 million," said Ujang.

His party has sent administrative fines to the organizers, but currently the organizing team is still being investigated by the South Jakarta Metro Police.

The parking area at Cibis Park where an illegal music concert has been sealed has also been sealed by the police by installing a police line.

At that location previously held a UMKM bazaar according to the permit which was held from April 12 to May 9, 2021.

However, on Saturday (1/5) a music concert was held without permission, inviting a crowd and without standard health protocols.

"Unexpectedly, this music concert does not have permission. So both the organizers and from Cibis Park, in accordance with the regulations of Perda 2/2020 and Perda 3/2021, we are subject to administrative fines," said Ujang.

Previously, the South Jakarta Metro Police questioned 12 people who are currently still witnesses about organizing a music concert without permission at the UMKM bazaar in Cibis Park.

He explained that the witness examination included management, location owners, managers including event organizers.

The next stage, he said, is the title of the case including still examining several other witnesses to determine their status to the level of investigation to determine the party responsible.

The police, he continued, are also still carrying out an in-depth investigation of the case to determine the criminal element.

"We will examine all the witnesses first and then we will stage them," he added.
