BGN Affirms Not Involved In Promotion Of SPPG Products

JAKARTA - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) emphasized that it has never been involved in the promotion of the product of any Nutrition Service Fulfillment Unit (SPPG), responding to cases of frequent logos of the agency being painted without official permission.

"We appeal to the entire community and business actors not to use BGN's official logo, emblem, or attributes without written permission from us. The logo of a state institution is an official identity that must be maintained together in order to maintain public trust," said Head of the Legal and Public Relations Bureau Khairul Hidayati as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 21.

He stated that the BGN logo is the official identity of a state institution whose use has been strictly regulated in the applicable regulations.

The Larena, the use of the BGN logo by parties outside the institution without official approval has the potential to mislead the public and violate the law.

BGN opens a communication space for anyone who needs clarification regarding the use of the logo or official attributes of the institution.

However, if there is abuse or use without a permit, BGN will not hesitate to take legal steps in accordance with the provisions of the legislation.

"If there are repeated violations or have a serious impact on the image of the institution and the interests of the community, we will still take legal steps," he said.

Hida also emphasized that BGN has never appointed or cooperated with any party related to the procurement of SPPG products.

Therefore, the public is advised to be careful of offering cooperation or product promotions on behalf of BGN or using the BGN logo as a form of promotion.

"We invite the public to be more vigilant and not easily believe if there are certain parties who use BGN's name, logo, or attributes without official clarification from us. If you find something similar, please report it to BGN through the official channel," he said.

The use of the BGN logo is regulated in Articles 3 and 5 of the Regulation of the National Nutrition Agency Number 3 of 2024. The article states that the logo can only be used by BGN in official institutional activities. Use by other parties is required to obtain written approval from BGN.

BGN asked the public to remain vigilant and report if they found similar actions. BGN will continue to maintain the integrity of the symbol of state institutions for the sake of the public interest, as well as prioritize credibility in supporting national programs to fulfill nutrition.
