Pramono Targets Ciliwung Normalization Land Acquisition To Be Completed In 2027

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung targets the land acquisition for the normalization of the Ciliwung River to be completed by 2027.

Thus, there are about 16 kilometers of river length remaining with unsecured land for the construction of embankments.

"Anyway, the Governor's task of 16.9 kilometers must be completed in 2027," Ika told reporters, Monday, July 21.

After the land acquisition process per field is completed, then the construction of the embankment will begin to be carried out by the central government, in this case the Ministry of Public Works (PU).

"Yesterday, with the ministry, we made a synergy between the DKI Provincial Government and the Ministry of Public Works. We freed him, he immediately entered physically. Until 2027 too," he explained.

In total, there are 14 plots of land that need location determination (penlok) to be acquired. This year, as many as 4 penloks were determined to immediately start the process of paying for the acquired land.

"Anyway, this year, what is paid, the scene, Rawajati, Cililitan, parts of Cawang. We are actually ready to just pay, instead we are waiting from the ATR-BPN ministry. They are still making an assignment team letter. Just walking," explained Ika.

The DKI Provincial Government has allocated a budget of IDR 98 billion for the land acquisition for Ciliwung normalization this year. In the draft amendment to the 2025 APBD, the DKI Provincial Government is proposing an additional budget of IDR 83.95 billion to cover the need for land acquisition costs.

The total budget needed to acquire Ciliwung normalization land during 2025 is IDR 182.7 billion.

The land acquisition for the normalization of Ciliwung is the task of the DKI Provincial Government. Meanwhile, the central government through the Ministry of Public Works is working on the construction of river embankments that have been normalized or widened.
