JAKARTA - Gus Miftah responded casually to criticism and even sarcasm against him after giving a touching tausiyah (religious preaching) at the inauguration of the Great Mandat of the Indonesian Bethel Church (GBI) in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, some time ago.

One of the criticisms came from the famous Ustaz Abdul Somad, who called Gus Miftah Kafir because he entered someone else's place of worship.

The satire style of the full name Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman also churns his stomach. "Misconceptions are common. Misunderstandings should not be taken for granted .... Different understandings are normal, Assuming the correct understanding is unusual", said Gus Miftah.
