KPU: PSU For The 2025 Bangka Pilbup Followed By Five Paslons, Determination 22 July

JAKARTA - Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia, Mohammad Afifuddin, said that the re-election (PSU) in Bangka Regency will be attended by five pairs of candidates for regent and deputy regent. The results of the Bangka Pilbup will be set on July 22, 2025.

"The nomination stage for the re-election of the deputy regent in my office and the hometown of the betel nut will be held on June 23-June 25, 2025, and the determination will be on July 22, 2025," Afif said in a meeting with Commission II of the DPR, Monday, July 14.

"So the position is still a candidate. So this is what we want to convey, the number of prospective pairs who register with regents and deputy regents in districts is 5 pairs of candidates, previously there were no candidates, only single candidates, now even 5," he continued.

Afif said that the candidate pairs who registered had to meet several conditions for at least the support of the candidate pair. First, 10 percent of the regional election DPT as much as 23,793 support with the distribution of 5 sub-districts. Second, the minimum support for political parties is 10 percent of the valid votes for the 2024 election as many as 18,635 votes.

"Details of prospective pairs who registered for the re-election of regents and deputy regents in Bangka district, first, Andi Kusuma and Budiyono have registered by obtaining support for 21,813 votes and parties proposing Hanura, PKB, PKN, Labor, Garda Republik Indonesia, PBB, PSI, Gelora Party and Ummat Party," Afif said.

"Secondly Ferry Insani and Syahbudin, registered as candidate pairs from political parties with the acquisition of support of 70,835 votes with the party proposing the Gerindra Party, PDIP," he continued.

Then third, there was the pair Rato Rusdiyanto and Ramadian who registered as candidate pairs and political parties who proposed with the support of 42,660 votes and the proposing party were the NasDem Party, and the Golkar Party.

Fourth, the H. Aksan Visyawan san Rustam Jasli pair registered as a candidate pair from a political party with the vote support of 24,536 votes as well as the party proposing PKS and PPP.

"As well as the fifth, H. Naziarti and H. Usnen registered as candidate pairs from political parties with 20,135 votes in support as well as parties proposing PAN and the Democratic Party," Afif said.

"So these five candidates are candidates from political parties," he concluded.
