The Government Will Disrupt Bansos Recipients Who Are Indicated For Playing Judol

JAKARTA - The government has confirmed that it will cross out recipients of social assistance (bansos) who are indicated to be playing online gambling. This was conveyed by the Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi to reporters, Friday, July 11 at the Merdeka Palace Complex, Jakarta.

The Financial Transaction Analysis Report Center (PPATK) found 571,410 NIKs indicated to be playing online gambling in 2024. Of these, the total deposits from accounts indicated by social assistance recipients reached Rp. 957 billion with a total of 7.5 million transactions.

According to Prasetyo Hadi, in the data there are recipients of social assistance that are not feasible. According to Prasetyo Hadi, the government continues to make efforts to tidy up the data on social assistance recipients so that they can be right on target through the National Economic Sole Data.
