The Revolving Fund Management Agency (LPDB) conducted an assessment to finance the initial operations of the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes) which will serve as a pilot in West Papua Province.
Director of LPDB Oetje Prasetia in Manokwari, Saturday, said that the financing of the Red and White Kopdes mockup by LPDB is regulated through the Regulation of the Minister of Cooperatives Number 1 of 2025.
"We were assigned to lend revolving funds for the Red and White Kopdes mockup, so an assessment needs to be carried out," he said as quoted by ANTARA.
In the regulation, he said, the application for revolving fund financing for a maximum cooperative mockup of IDR 3 billion with a tenor of 10 years including a grace period.
Pilot cooperatives that apply for revolving funds must have complete legality and business proposals, because the proposal is first analyzed by LPDB.
"Usually the analysis of the business proposal is 21 days, but we are accelerating. The analysis is aimed at knowing the needs of cooperatives and the amount of loans," he said.
He said that every cooperative that applies for a revolving fund loan must include asset guarantees, and individual guarantees from the management and supervisors of the Red and White Kopdes.
