A Total Of 86 Regional Heads Depart To IPDN Follow Wave II Retret

A total of 86 people consisting of regional heads and deputy regional heads departed from the Office of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), Jakarta, to the Institute of Domestic Education (IPDN), Sumedang, West Java, to start following wave II series.

They departed after attending an apple at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office and heard the briefing from the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Home Affairs Tomsi Tohir. Their journey continued using the HIGH-speed train.

"This orientation activity is not an activity that is solely physical, but aims first that ladies and gentlemen as regional heads can discipline themselves," said Tomsi as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, June 22.

During the trip to the retreat, he wanted the regional heads to get to know each other. Because, he said, the regional heads could exchange information to realize good local governance.

"Every district cannot stand alone, there must be a relationship with the other side, as well as the province," he said.

In addition, he explained that the retreat aims to prioritize nationalism rather than prioritizing the interests of their respective regions.

So that the existence as a Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia remains intact and Indonesia can progress together.

"We hope that all of you can succeed. Thus, this success is our togetherness and can become a national success," he said.

Previously, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya said that in the second wave of retret, regional heads would receive materials with three main substances, namely regarding the main tasks of regional heads, giving theories such as Astacita missions, as well as eradicating corruption and national insight submitted by the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas).

Adapun peserta retret kali ini terdiri dari tiga kelompok. Pertama, kepala daerah yang sudah dilantik namun belum sempat mengikuti gelombang pertama.

Kedua, kepala daerah yang sebelumnya menghadapi sengketa hasil Pilkada tetapi akhirnya tuntas. Ketiga, kepala daerah hasil pemungutan suara ulang (PSU) yang proses pelantikannya baru selesai.

The retret participants this time consisted of three groups. First, the regional head who has been inaugurated but has not had time to follow the first wave.

Second, the regional head who previously faced a dispute over the results of the Pilkada but was finally resolved. Third, the regional head has a re-voting (PSU) whose inauguration process has just been completed.
