Police Hunt For Torture And Abuse Of 7-Year-Old Boy In South Jakarta To Keraton Village

JAKARTA - The police are still hunting for the father who is suspected of having taken you away until he abandoned his son with the initials MK (7) in the Kebayoran Lama Market area, South Jakarta, last Wednesday, June 11.

The Director of PPA-PO Polri, Brigadier General Nurul Azizah, said that his party was tracing the Keraton Village in Surabaya and Klaten City.

Now his party has also coordinated with the local dukcapil, to trace the whereabouts of the alleged perpetrator.

"Search steps are carried out thoroughly, including administrative tracking, direct investigations in the field," said Nurul when confirmed, Sunday, June 15.

In addition, his party also coordinates with the digital forensic team and a team of psychologists. The goal is to explore the figure of the perpetrator from the victim's statement.

"Research and digital forensic analysis, psychological and communicative approaches with expert assistants, as well as information dissemination," said Nurul.

Nurul also asked the public who had information to convey it to the police. It is hoped that, according to him, in the near future the whereabouts of the victim's parents can be identified.

"Active involvement of the community is needed to ensure that every step taken truly guarantees the safety, recovery, and future of the child in its entire and sustainable manner," he said.

For information, a girl with the initials MK (7) has been found by South Jakarta Satpol PP officers. The boy when found looks full of wounds, even has burns on his body.

Currently, the boy has been taken to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. The goal is to be treated intensively.
