JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that no Indonesian citizens (WNI) were on the list of passengers on India's Air plane that crashed.

Air India's Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with flight number AI171 from Ahmedabad International Airport, Gujarat, India to London Gatwick Airport, England, crashed shortly after taking off on Thursday.

"Based on the manifest obtained by the Indonesian Consulate General in Mumbai, no Indonesian citizens are passengers on the plane in question," said Director of Protection for Indonesian Citizens at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Judha Nugraha in a statement to reporters, Thursday, June 12.

The plane carried 232 passengers and 10 crew, with details of 217 adults and 11 children, of whom 169 were Indian nationals, 43 were British nationals, seven Portuguese, and one Canadian, during an accident.
