The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated an apartment unit suspected of being linked to alleged corruption in land acquisition around the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) on Tuesday, June 10. The location is in the South Tangerang area.
"Investigators confiscated an apartment unit worth around Rp. 500 million," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in his statement quoted on Wednesday, June 11.
Budi said the apartment was confiscated because he was suspected of being bought using corruption money. "The location is in South Tangerang," he said.
"The confiscation was carried out because investigators suspected that the apartment was related to the flow of funds from the case being handled," he continued.
In addition to confiscating the apartment, Budi said that witness examinations were also being carried out to investigate allegations of corruption related to land acquisition around JTTS. Two people were questioned, namely Sayed Musaddiq as private and Siti Na'fah who is a doctor.
Regarding Sayed, investigators studied the study of PT Hutama Karya (HK)'s capital participation in subsidiaries. "Meanwhile, other witnesses have been investigated regarding their knowledge of the sale and purchase of land from PT STJ to PT HK," said Budi.
Meanwhile, PT STJ or Sanitindo Tangsel Jaya has been named a corporate suspect in this case.
Previously reported, the KPK has named three suspects in the corruption case in land acquisition for the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) carried out by PT Hutama Karya (Persero) in 2018-2020. They are BP as the former President Director of PT Hutama Karya; former Head of the Division of PT Hutama Karya; and IZ from the private sector in the JTTS land acquisition corruption case.
