Police Arrest 3 Students Perpetrators Of Brawl, Found Molotov Bombs And Bows

JAKARTA - Three teenagers with the initials VR (23), IF (16), and PP (16) did not move when they were arrested by the Patra Brimob Team Battalion A when they were about to do a brawl on Jalan Sumur Batu, Central Jakarta on Sunday (8/6/2025).

The perpetrator was arrested with a number of evidences of Molotov cocktails, sharp sickle-type weapons and one bow complete with arrows.

In addition, the police also confiscated two cell phones used for the brawl agreement.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said the arrests began when the team found a group of suspicious teenagers. After an examination, a number of evidences were found which were immediately secured.

"We do not want any casualties due to brawls that often disturb residents. The perpetrators along with evidence before the brawl took place," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Sunday (8/6/2025).

From the hands of the three perpetrators, the police confiscated a sharp sickle, one bow complete with arrows and one bottle of Molotov cocktail.

"The perpetrators admitted that they wanted to do a brawl," he said.

The three perpetrators were then taken to the Central Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters for further investigation.

For their actions, the three perpetrators are threatened with being charged with Article 2 Paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 concerning possession of sharp weapons, explosives, or stabbing weapons with a maximum imprisonment of 10 years.
