JAKARTA - Deputy Governor (Deputy Governor) of North Kalimantan (Kaltara), Ingkong Ala attended the National Defense Center at the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly IV Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (20/5/2025).

The event, which was held by the MPR's Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) with the theme of Strengthening the Pancasila Ideology in Facing Global Geopolitical Challenges Towards Greater Indonesia, was attended by leaders of high state institutions, ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, and regional heads throughout Indonesia.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the MPR RI, Ahmad Muzani emphasized that Pancasila did not belong to a handful of groups, but the legacy of all Indonesian people.

"Without Pancasila, we are no longer one nation, but a warring group," said Ahmad Muzani.

"This reminds us that in the midst of global geopolitical changes, Pancasila remains a compass that keeps Indonesia on the path of unity and justice," he added.

This Gerindra politician added that History has proven that this nation is strong when all elements of society unite under the noble values of Pancasila.

"This gathering is a strategic dialogue space to address the increasingly dynamic global geopolitical challenges. Indonesia, with the diversity of ethnicity, religion and culture, must continue to strengthen the resilience of the nation's ideology. Because, only with Pancasila, we are able to maintain sovereignty and identity in the midst of global influence.

"We can sit together, deliberate, and build Indonesia's future because Pancasila unites," said Muzani. This is in line with the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, where the difference is not a barrier, but a force to achieve a more advanced Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of Kaltara, Ingkong Ala, said that our various children of our nation should be proud to have Pancasila as a guide for the life of the nation and state.

"As one of the young provinces in Indonesia, Kaltara is committed to practicing these national values," said Deputy Governor Ingkong.

Ingkong added that his presence in this national forum is a commitment and spirit of unity that must be echoed by the central and regional governments.

"In the era of global disruption and polarization, we must not falter. Let's make Pancasila the basis of thinking, attitude, and acting to create a just, prosperous, and sovereign Great Indonesia," concluded Deputy Governor Ingkong Ala. (ADV)
