The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has named three suspects in a case of alleged corruption in the provision of credit facilities to PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex) by a number of state-owned banks. The determination was made after investigators examined 55 witnesses and one expert.
The Director of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Abdul Qohar, said three of the nine witnesses examined on Wednesday, May 21, were immediately named as suspects.
"A few moments ago investigators have also examined one expert," Qohar said at a press conference at the AGO Round Building, Jakarta.
The three suspects are Dicky Syahbandinata (DS), Head of the Corporate and Commercial Division of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten (BJB) in 2020; Zainuddin Mappa (ZM), President Director of PT Bank DKI in 2020; and Iwan Setiawan Lukminto (ISL), President Director of PT Sritex for the 2005 period 2022.
In addition to the three suspects, the AGO also examined six other witnesses, namely ERN from the Public Accountant Office, RFL from the Indonesian Export Financing Agency, as well as NTP, RNL, UK, and ADM from PT BJB.
Qohar explained, from the results of the interim investigation, it was found that allegations of corruption in providing credit facilities by a number of government banks to PT Sritex with outstanding bill value until October 2024 reached Rp3.58 trillion.
