Police Are Still Investigating The Case Of Malpractice Victims At The East Jakarta Beauty Clinic

Polda Metro Jaya is still investigating the case of three women who were victims of malpractice or surgery to repair or reshape the nose at a beauty clinic in the East Jakarta area.

"This reported incident is being investigated, namely regarding negligence that resulted in injuries," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 20.

Ade Ary explained that the victims had also submitted several pieces of evidence that had been received by Polda Metro Jaya investigators.

"First, a printed paper from the screen capture/cupilikan screen, a letter document and a nose photo, then a copy of the document, proof of transfer there are several transfers," he said.

Regarding a celebrity who participated in promoting the beauty clinic, Ade Ary said it was the investigator's authority.

"It is the investigator who considers, so in an incident reported by the reporter or victim, investigators will collect the facts," he explained.

Previously, three women with the initials NH (31), NHC (27), and UN (29) reported to the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) Polda Metro Jaya after becoming victims of malpractice or surgery to repair or reshape the nose at a beauty clinic in the East Jakarta area.

"As for the reported parties we reported, there were three, first the clinic, the second the doctor with the initials SFT, and the third is the agency or marketing with the initials RP or B," said the victim's attorney, Andreas Hari Susanto Marbun, when met at the SPKT Polda Metro Jaya, Wednesday (14/5).

Andreas explained that the beginning of the incident occurred when his client had a nose surgery in January 2023, after surgery at that time, it turned out that there were quite serious impacts experienced by the victims.

"These three clients carried out the average operation twice, the first operation was carried out, the impact was like a kind of high nose condition, tilted, and even injured," he said.

In addition, the victims also experienced their noses a red bump and then turned into pus and the condition of their nose eventually became infected.
