Starting the meeting, Foreign Minister Sugiono expressed his appreciation for the successful visit of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Thursday, conveying his commitment to following up on the agreement reached at a meeting with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
Foreign Minister Sugiono also appreciated Australia's support, so the signing of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Action Plan for the 2025-2029 period could be carried out between Foreign Minister Sugiono and his counterpart Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong.
"The signing of the Action Plan is carried out in order to maintain the momentum of intensive cooperation between Indonesia and Australia," said the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement, Friday, May 16.
