JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, invites the Malaysian parliament to jointly encourage solidarity between Muslim countries in facing global challenges. Puan added that relations between Indonesia and Malaysia are expected to continue to strengthen, not only in the political and security fields, but also in the economic, social, and inter-citizen sectors.
He highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation in defense and security for regional stability. In addition, he also invited Malaysia to increase parliamentary partnerships through bilateral and regional forums, including PUIC.

From an economic perspective, Puan encourages increased trade cooperation, especially in the palm oil sector and digital trade. He also emphasized the importance of support for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
