TANJUNG SELOR Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Zainal A. Paliwang handed over a Decree (SK) for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) within the North Kalimantan Provincial Government for the 2024 Formation.
At the handover of the CPNS Decree, Governor Zainal was accompanied by the Head of the Regional Office VIII BKN Banjarmasin Soni Sultana.
In his remarks Governor Zainal congratulated 54 CPNS of Kaltara Province who passed the selection and officially received a Decree today.
"Congratulations on your success, for the stages you have gone through and this is the first step to be part of the State Civil Apparatus of the North Kalimantan Provincial Government," said Governor Zainal, Tuesday, May 6.
Governor Zainal emphasized that becoming a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) is a must to provide service to the community.
However, Zainal admitted that he regretted the CPNS who managed to participate in the selection until they graduated, but resigned.
According to him, there are still many people who struggle to be able to graduate to become ASN, and this is a valuable opportunity.
"Being an ASN is not just getting a job but carrying a big mandate and responsibility to the nation and state," he said.
Governor Zainal emphasized that ASN is required to be an example in morality, have integrity to uphold professionalism and have high dedication in every task given.
To CPNS formations in 2024 who pass the selection, Governor Zainal is expected to instill and apply the value of ASN values in carrying out future tasks, such as morals, loyalty, integrity, and performance.
"ASN must be the driving force for change, not just implementing policies. Make this position a means to serve not to seek personal means of profit," he said.
Finally, the Governor advised CPNS to improve self-competition through training, education and developing self-capacity, avoiding KKN such as corruption in any form.
"Keep neutrality as an ASN, and ASN must stand tall for the people without taking sides with political interests, especially in the year political year, he concluded.
