JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government has finished holding face-to-face learning trials in 85 schools. The trial was conducted from April 7 to April 29, 2021. The levels of schools that were opened were from Elementary school, junior high school, high school, to Center for community learning activities/training course institutions.

Face-to-face learning is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of the week. Students who take part in face-to-face learning take turns every day. The rest are still learning online.

The number of students is limited with a maximum of 50 percent of the capacity per class and a distance of 1.5 meters between students.

The study duration is limited to 3 to 4 hours per day. Limited learning materials, namely only essential materials delivered in face-to-face learning.

Several notes have caught the attention of the DKI Education Office. Public Relations of the DKI Jakarta Education Agency, Taga Radja Gah, still have teachers and students wearing masks inappropriately.

In addition, there are still students who gather to gather with their friends. However, when students begin to crowd, the health protocol supervisor will immediately ask the students to disperse.

"After the lesson, there was still a small crowd. The children wanted to chat with their friends. Such a phenomenon occurred in several schools, but the crowds quickly disrupted", said Taga on Thursday, April 29.

The good news is, Taga said that until now there have been no positive confirmation cases for students, teachers, and education personnel at schools that have implemented face-to-face learning.

"During the trial, there was no confirmed positive case of COVID-19. Then there was no rejection from the surrounding environment, both from the village head and the surrounding community," he explained.

Then, Taga also claimed that his party did not receive reports of students hanging out after school. This is based on the supervision of the Civil Service Police Unit Jakarta and the community.

"The duration is only 3 hours, at most 4 hours, at 11 o'clock it is over. At that time, they also bear it, what do they want to do. Well, it will turn out to go home, rest at home", he explained.

After this, the DKI Provincial Government will prepare for the second phase of face-to-face school trials. Schools that have not yet held face-to-face assessments, starting from April 26 to May 4.

"Then the verification of the results of the assessment starts from the steps of May 4 to 8. Then, because of the Eid holiday, training for verified schools is from 24 May to 4 June 2021. The second phase of the trial will be held on June 7 to 24, 2021", he concluded.
