Akmil Cadets Follow Digital Inter-Branch TFG, Danpussimpur: More Effective And Modern

JAKARTA - The use of digital media for the Tactical Floor Game (TFG) is more effective and modern, still not reducing the mechanism, said the Commander of the Battle Simulation Center (Danpussimpur), TNI AD Kodiklat Colonel Inf. Trijoko Adiwiyono.

This was conveyed by Danpussimpur while reviewing the TFG Inter-Branch of Pasis Dikcabpa Taruna Akmil TK IV TA 2025 which was held at the Multipurpose Building for the Gunung Lie Exercise Area, Cimahi, West Java, Sunday (5/4).

This TFG demonstration aims to provide initial knowledge about the actual TFG mechanism to 413 Akmil cadets in the Battle Team Battalion (BTP) training scenario with attack material. This TFG demonstration was played by the Coach Officers of the 15 Army Branching.

Danpussimpur Colonel Inf. Trijoko said TFG is a training method for synchronizing, combining, integrating and testing the concept of operational plans followed by commanders on the map, before an operation is carried out.

"TFG is often done with a map media held on the floor, this time Pussimpur presents it in the form of digital media applications that are visualized through TV and videortron screens in the hope that TFG can be carried out more effectively and modernly, without reducing the TFG mechanism," explained Danpussimpur.

After witnessing the demonstration, the Military Academy cadets were given the opportunity to try to do their own TFG as demonstrated by the coach during the demonstration.

A total of 413 Akmil cadets seemed enthusiastic about doing TFG, immediately organizing in TFG devices such as those acting as TFG leaders, Oldest Officers, resource persons, moderators, dynamicators, secretaries and eclipsers.

By trying to do this TFG yourself, the Akmil cadets are expected to get a real picture, said Danpussimpur, adding that they can carry out technical drilling training well at the 600 shooting range starting tomorrow, so that they can show their best demonstration during peak training on May 7, 2025, which will be witnessed by the PJU Kodiklat TNI AD.
