JAKARTA - Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti said President Prabowo Subianto asked to review the re-procurement of IPA, IPS, and Language sections at the high school education level.
Mu'ti, after a closed meeting with Commission X of the DPR, made this statement to answer questions from Commission X of the DPR regarding her party's plan to hold another section at the high school level to support the implementation of the Academic Ability Test (TKA) this year.
"The DPR asked about our plan to carry out the whole thing, but we conveyed that regarding this whole thing, we received directions from the President and Pak Seskab to be studied more deeply," said Minister of Education and Culture Mu'ti as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 22.
The President also asked him to coordinate with the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Pratikno in the next few days.
Mu'ti said that later the results of his coordination with the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture regarding the procurement of roundabouts at the high school level would be conveyed directly to the President.
"God willing, within the next few days we will talk to the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture and how the results will be, we will convey it to the President," he added.
Earlier on Friday (11/4), Minister of Elementary and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti said that his party had re-imposed IPA, IPS, and Language sections at the High School (SMA) level to support the implementation of the Academic Ability Test (TKA).
