Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Syafrin Liputo responded to the rejection of the management of Cibubur Tourism City, Bogor, West Java regarding the discourse on the Transjabodetabek route for the City of Wisata-Cawang which is being prepared by the DKI Provincial Government.
"Rejecting the City of Tourism, of course we are concerned about the management of the City of Tourism," said Syafrin at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, April 21.
In fact, according to Syafrin, the DKI Provincial Government is trying to provide public transportation services that prioritize safety, security, and are also affordable for people in the Jabodetabek area.
However, Syafrin admitted that his party could not force the management of the City of Tourism to reject the Transjabodetabek route in its area. The DKI Provincial Government will look for other routes to operate the expansion of Transjakarta to the buffer zone.
"Therefore, the internal policy of the management of the Cibubur tourism area, so we from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also cannot force it," said Syafrin.
"Therefore, we are doing it is an effort to find other areas that can work together and we can provide the best service to the surrounding community," he added.
