Attorney For Victims Of Harassment In DKI DPRD Reveals Perpetrators Have The Profession Of PKS Faction Experts

JAKARTA - An honorary employee at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building is suspected of being a victim of sexual harassment. The victim with the initials N, who is female, has reported the case to the Polda Metro Jaya.

The victim's attorney, Yudi, revealed that the alleged perpetrator of sexual harassment of the man with the initials NS works as an expert from the PKS faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"The criminal act of sexual harassment committed by his co-worker with the initials NS who also has the status of an expert from a member of Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, the Prosperous Justice Party faction," Yudi said in his statement, Sunday, April 20.

This report is registered in the number STTLP/B/2499/IV/2025/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA and has been received on April 16, 2025 at 17.04 WIB along with the results of the post-mortem reported by the victim on the same day.

According to the victim's statement, acts of sexual harassment committed by NS occurred between February and early March 2025.

His actions were in the form of forced kissing, swiping and touching the victim's vital organs. The victim also reported that the perpetrator verbally abused him through chats containing sexual harassment.

"All these actions were carried out by NS without the consent of the victim, even making the victim uncomfortable in carrying out their daily duties," explained Yudi.

Yudi said that currently the victim was traumatized by this sexual crime. The victim is now also temporarily frozen from his job as an expert member of Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD PKS Faction.

"We hope that Polda Metro Jaya can work professionally and transparently in thoroughly investigating this case so that it can be a lesson for all of us to respect human rights and the existence of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence," he explained.
