DKI Provincial Government Disburses KJP Plus Phase I 2025 To 43,502 New Recipients

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has disbursed the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus phase I in 2025 for new recipients with a total of 43,502 students through the Bank DKI account. The distribution is carried out from April 18 to April 21, 2025.

Bank DKI President Director Agus H. Widodo said that this distribution was part of the distribution of 126,000 new KJP Plus recipients as well as the continuation of the KJP Plus Phase I 2025 distribution program to 707,622 students.

"Bank DKI continues to optimize its role as a regional development bank by ensuring that the distribution process of KJP can run on time, on target, and transparently," Agus said in his statement, Friday, April 18.

Continuing, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi appealed to all KJP beneficiaries to always be careful and vigilant in conducting financial transactions, especially not providing PIN and personal information to other people on behalf of Bank DKI.

In addition, Arie continued, Bank DKI has affiliated the use of KJP funds through various merchants who have collaborated and are equipped with an electronic data capture (EDC) machine of Bank DKI.

"Thus, beneficiaries can spend their education needs directly in various school supplies, bookstores, and other merchants in collaboration with Bank DKI," he explained.

For the use of cash withdrawals, the provisions for cash withdrawals for the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) are a maximum of Rp. 100,000 per week. Meanwhile, the remaining funds can be used to make non-cash purchases to buy school supplies.

Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government began to disburse the KJP Plus phase 1 of 2025 for the January, February, and March celebrations. This distribution was symbolically inaugurated by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, to a number of students on Thursday, March 20.

"Today, the official KJP Plus, which amounts to approximately 707,622 students, we are launching, we will distribute, we convey. Hopefully, in no more than a week everything can be resolved," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall.

Of the total recipients of KJP Plus phase 1 in 2025, 580,893 are students who are recipients of existing or advanced, and 126,729 are new recipients and students who were dropped from the KJP acceptance phase 2 of 2024.

The return of hundreds of thousands of KJP revenues has been Pramono and Rano Karno's promise since the beginning of his tenure as Governor of DKI Jakarta. This is because the revocation of some of the KJP Plus acceptances last year had drawn protests.

"I and Bang Doel decided, okay, everyone got it and then we made the governor's regulation so that everyone could get it. So if you ask why it wasn't decided in the past, I don't want to look back," said Pramono.
