Ruben Onsu Reveals Ivan Gunawan's Role In His Convert Journey

Ruben Onsu shared a conversation between himself and Ivan Gunawan who faithfully helped him deepen Islam after deciding to convert.

In an upload, Ruben showed the contents of Ivan's conversation that reminded him of the dawn prayer.

"Before dawn, there were two rakaats, sunnah prayers," Ivan Gunawan told Ruben quoted by VOI from Instagram @ruben_onsu, Friday, April 18.

Ruben also answered honestly and casually, "Yes, Sis, I've been tahajud, eh, sleep (sleeping). I want to rest first."

Ivan returned to reply by reminding him of the sunnah prayer before Fajr or known as Qabliyah Fajr. "In fact, before Fajr, the sunnah prayer used to be two rakaats, then Fajr two rakaats."

With his distinctive style, Ivan added a touch of humor, "Qabliah Fajr, work on it when there is time, rather than sitting around. Do it, don't reply (WhatsApp) before," he wrote.

Not wanting to lose, Ruben also replied with a similar joke. "Wkwkwk, I while preparing live. If you don't reply, you nag."

In the caption of his upload, Ruben added, "Please read in the tone of Die the Mamat Jedor @ivan_gunawan yaaa. Imagine, even though it's only written from him, it's like his voice in his ear, hahaha," wrote Ruben Onsu.

He closed his upload with a warm sentence, "That's the content of our current chat," he concluded.
