Golkar Chairman Bahlil Signs Reshuffle Of Party Management

JAKARTA - The general chairman of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia, has hinted at a reshuffle in the structure of his party's management. According to Bahlil, the management replacement system in the Golkar Party is similar to the ministerial cabinet reshuffle mechanism, which can be done at any time without having to wait a year or two.

"Mr. Maman (Minister of MSMEs Maman Abdurrahman), don't laugh. I already understand his aspirations. Later, Mr. Maman, there will be a reshuffle soon. The reshuffle of the Golkar Party management is the same as a cabinet reshuffle, you don't have to wait a year or two," said Bahlil during the Golkar Party Halalbihalal event, Wednesday, April 16 evening.

Bahlil emphasized that a reshuffle is needed as a form of refreshment and strengthening the performance of the organization. He assessed that the Golkar Party is a national asset that must continue to make a real contribution to the people of Indonesia.

"If there are administrators who do not match their duties, we will replace them. This Golkar Party is a state asset and belongs to all of us, belonging to all Indonesian people who love the Golkar Party," he said.

Furthermore, regarding the issue of the Golkar Party's management reshuffle, Bahlil emphasized that the position in the party is not a legacy that can be inherited from generation to generation. According to him, position is a mandate that must be achieved, maintained, and carried out with full responsibility.

"Don't consider the position like an inheritance. This is not something that comes from his son. Position must be achieved fairly and responsibly," said Bahlil.

He also ensured that the Golkar Party would open the widest possible space for the best cadres to be included in the management ranks.

"I want to open the space for competition as much as possible, both among faction members, administrators, and cadres. The goal is to grow a sense of belonging, responsibility, and love for the party," concluded Bahlil regarding the issue of the reshuffle of the Golkar Party's management.
