Hasan Nasbi Denies Resigning From The Presidential Communication Office

JAKARTA Hasan Nasbi denied reports that he had resigned from the position of Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO). He emphasized that he was still working as usual.

"I'm still in the office as usual," said Hasan Nasbi, Wednesday, April 16, quoted from ANTARA.

A similar statement was also made by the Cabinet Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya. He was surprised by the news and emphasized that Hasan was still actively working.

"Wow, where did the issue come from? This is still working as usual. Just finished the meeting together," said Teddy in response to reporters' questions.

Teddy did not explain further about the contents of the meeting in question.

The news of Hasan's resignation began to circulate among journalists since noon, but it is not clear where the issue came from.

Previously, Hasan Nasbi had been in the spotlight after commenting on the terror of the pig's head which was addressed to Tempo's editor.

His comment was then asked by a senior journalist during an interview with President Prabowo Subianto in Hambalang, Bogor.

Responding to this, President Prabowo called Hasan's statement a mistake.

"That's a saying that I think is careless. That's wrong. I think he's sorry," Prabowo said.
