The Social Service Of Mukomuko Owes IDR 500 Thousand To Shop Owners, Buys Staples For Disaster Victims

BENGKULU - The Social Service of Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province, has assisted with various necessities to residents whose houses were damaged by falling trees in Talang Gading Village, Sungai Rumbai District.

Head of the District Social Service of Mukomuko, Saroni said that in buying aid for the victim, the agency was forced to owe the stall owner IDR 500 thousand.

"Basic material assistance for residents of victims of houses damaged by falling trees is the same as assistance received by residents of previous house fire victims, namely 10 kilograms of rice, a box of instant noodles, oil and sugar", said Saroni in a written statement reported by Antara, Wednesday, April 28.

The staple material assistance to residents of victims of houses damaged by a tree was given by the executor of the Sungai Rumbai sub-district on behalf of the Mukomuko Regent, Sapuan.

"Only the assistance of various necessities available at this service that we can give to the families of residents who are victims of houses damaged by a tree in this area", he also said.

He hopes that this small amount of assistance can lighten the burden on the families of the residents who were victims of houses damaged by falling trees in the Sungai Rumbai District area.

One of the residents whose house was damaged by a tree, Supadi expressed his gratitude for this assistance. Supadi is a resident of Talang Gading Village, Sungai Rumbai District.

Even though one house of a resident of Talang Gading Village was badly damaged, there were no casualties as a result of the natural disaster.
