Leaks Of PKS And PKB Meetings This Afternoon

JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) and the National Awakening Party (PKB) are scheduled to hold a meeting at the PKB DPP Office on Wednesday, April 28, this afternoon.

PKS President Akhmad Syaikhu and his staff were originally to be received directly by PKB General Chairman Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin.

Responding to this, the Secretary General of the PKB DPP, Hasanuddin Wahid, divulged the intention of the meeting of the two Islamic political party leaders. One of them is to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among the nation's children as Muslims.

"This gathering is part of accelerating Indonesia's rise. The key is to strengthen ukhuwah wathoniyah and Islamiyah," said Hasanuddin who is familiarly called Cak Udin in Jakarta, Wednesday, April 28.

Regarding the discussion about the formation of an Islamic party axis, Cak Udin was reluctant to comment further. According to him, the meeting of the two parties was to discuss welfare and justice for the Indonesian people.

"Accelerating the awakening of the nation to achieve prosperity and justice for all Indonesian people must be above everything else," said Cak Udin.

Previously, PKS had also held meetings with PPP and Golkar. This political safari is referred to as exploration ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election.
