The Prosecutor's Office For The Palembang City Government-South Sumatra Perkimtan Department Investigate Allegations Of Corruption In The Cinde Market

The South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) searched the Palembang City Government (Pemkot) office to investigate the alleged corruption case at Cinde Market.

Arriving at the Palembang City Government office, Monday, April 14 at around 13.30 WIB, the South Sumatra Prosecutor's Office immediately entered the Palembang Mayor's office, Ratu Dewa.

During the search, it was seen that the Deputy Mayor of Palembang Prima Salam's official vehicle was parked in front of the office.

Then the Regional Secretary of Palembang City at around 14.20 WIB arrived and entered the Palembang Walkot Office.

The South Sumatra Prosecutor's Office Team conducted the first search at the South Sumatra Province Housing, Settlement and Land Office (Perkimtan) on the same day from 11.00-12.50 WIB.

Previously, Mayor of Palembang Ratu Dewa said the alleged corruption case of Cinde Market occurred during the 2015-2023 Palembang Walkot leadership Harnojoyo period.

Therefore, said Dewa, he could not go too far to discuss this matter.

"I don't want to go too far to discuss it because the case is the previous leader, Harnojoyo in 2017, also related to cultural heritage and others," he said.

The South Sumatra Prosecutor's Office team in investigating this case has also examined Harnojoyo as a witness in the alleged corruption case at Cinde Market.
