Annoyed That His Friend Was Arrested, A Gang Of Thieves In Serang Banten Nekat Curi Motor Police

The gang of motor vehicle theft perpetrators (curanmor) with the initials AC (20) and SA (28) and T (32) were desperate to steal the police service motorbike while parked at the Jami Babussalam Mosque, Serang Regency, Banten.

Serang Police Chief AKBP Condro Sasongko said that from the results of the investigation of the suspect, the motive for the motorcycle theft was due to revenge.

The perpetrator admitted that he was upset because several of his friends were arrested by the Serang Police Satreskrim officers and were serving their sentences.

"The motive is unique, the perpetrators are desperate to steal the police service motorbike because they are upset because some of their friends were arrested by members of the Serang Police and are currently still serving their sentences," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 9.

Because he was shrouded in revenge, the perpetrator then diverted the theft target to the Serang Police official vehicle which was being used by members for the mobile dawn prayer activities.

The Bhabinkamtibmas official motorbike (bhayangkara for the development of security and public order) was then sold to T for Rp. 3.5 million and the proceeds of the crime were used to buy drugs.

"Before the official motorbike was sold, the AC suspect preferred to remove and remove the police service number plate on the motorbike. There are still two other perpetrators who are still being chased," he explained.

The theft of this motorbike was carried out in the parking lot of the Jami Babussalam Mosque, Kademangan Village, Parigi Village, Cikande District, Serang Banten Regency when Bhabinkamtibmas personnel were carrying out Fajr prayers around.

"This official motorcycle theft case occurred on Monday (31/3) when members of Bhabinkamtibmas (bhayangkara for security and public order guidance) were carrying out the Fajr prayer around," he said.

The two robbers arrested were AC (20) and SA (28) and T (32) who were collectors. The three of them are residents of Luhur Jaya Village, Cipanas District.

"The perpetrator was arrested three days after stealing a Bhabinkamtibmas motorbike at the house of one of the perpetrators in Hamberang Sabrang Village, Luhurjaya Village, Cipanas District, Lebak Regency, Thursday (3/4) early morning," he said.

The three of them resisted when they were about to be arrested because they were considered dangerous, the police were forced to take firm and measured action.

"The three suspects are former residents of the Tangerang and Lebak detention centers. The targets are parking motorbikes in Serang, Tangerang, Lebak, Bogor and Bekasi Regencies," he explained.
