DPRD Chairman Asks Customers Not To Follow Account Empty Invitations At Bank DKI

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Khoirudin asked Bank DKI customers not to follow the invitation to vacate their accounts due to system problems.

This is because the bank owned by the provincial government is a regional asset that provides the highest dividend so far.

"Don't follow the invitation to vacate. Because this is our asset, local government assets, DKI assets," said Khoirudin, in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

According to him, currently the regional company (Perumda) is in a service problem, but what is certain is that all work to restore services back to normal.

For this reason, when there is an invitation to vacate the Bank DKI account, it does not need to be followed because this will be detrimental to the region because Bank DKI is the largest dividend contributor to Jakarta.

"Sometimes something is wrong, there are shortcomings. But don't because of the shortage, the movement to empty an account at Bank DKI. Because it will harm us ourselves," he said.

Previously, interbank transaction services through Bank DKI ATMs had now returned to full operation, following the completion of the banking system maintenance process since March 29, 2025.

"Customers can now return to various transactions such as cash withdrawals, balance checks, cross-bank transfers (off-us), to bill payments," said Bank DKI President Director Agus Haryoto Widodo.

According to him, the recovery of the service follows the completion of the service system maintenance process as part of efforts to improve service quality and strengthen the transaction security system.

He emphasized that during the maintenance process, data security and customer funds remained Bank DKI's top priority.

His party also ensures that every problem that may arise has been followed up and resolved as well as possible.
