Kades In Deli Serdang Attacked By Drug Dealers With Sundak Pari Weapons

MEDAN - The village head (Kades) of Rantau Panjang, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, was attacked by a sharp gun.

This man attacked the village head named M Yusni using a sharp weapon made of stingray body parts. Videos of the attack were widely shared on social media.

Kades Yusni said the attack took place on Wednesday, April 21 at Jalan Rantau Panjang, Dusun III. Yusni was attacked after participating in the socialization activities of the North Sumatra Provincial Government.

"That is, when there was an MCK survey activity from the province. Returning from the MCK survey I was stopped," said Yusni, Tuesday, April 27.

"(Allegedly) a drug dealer," he continued.

Yusni admitted that he knew that the attacker was named Herman. Herman is suspected of being frequently involved in drug trafficking.

"I do not know that he was angry, he asked for a fight, did not know why, right? Incidentally, the crew was the same as the Head of Development. He directly attended, recorded his spontaneity, so the video (circulating) was possible," he said.

The village head suspects that Herman was annoyed with the village program to clean from drugs.

"There are many long-term programs including several raids from the Police, BNN, to the Police. So he is not happy that this is the village head's program, that's him," he explained.

"He also said, you just caught you. In the days of the village head, there were no arrests. I killed you, stabbed you," Kades Yusni continued when imitating the perpetrator's words.

When threatening him, the perpetrator also attacked Yusni with a sundak pari or some kind of sharp weapon made of a stingray tail. Locals at the site prevented it.

"He used the weapon, the sundak pari weapon, used the fishbone. That poison, if the dead is (me). The weapon is held by him," he explained.

Yusni reported this incident to the Deli Serdang Police. Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Deli Serdang Police, Commissioner M Firdaus, when confirmed, confirmed the report.

"We have already made a report. Please take time for us to carry out an investigation," said Firdaus to reporters.
