Febri Diansyah Regarding KPK Searching The Visi Law Office: I've Been Out Since December 2024

AdvocateFebri Diansyah has stated that he will no longer join or be under the auspices of the Visi Law Office since December 2024.

The statement was made in response to the steps taken by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) which searched the law office.

"Since December 2024, I have not been in the Visi Law Office since December 2024," Febri told reporters at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Friday, March 21.

Visi Law Office is a law firm office founded by former KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah along with former Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) researcher Donal Fariz. Then, Rasamala Aritonang, who is a former employee of the anti-corruption commission, joined in 2022.

However, Febri stated that he really appreciates the investigation steps carried out by the KPK regarding the handling of the alleged money laundering crime (TPPU) of the former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL).

"Well, when it comes to searches, in my opinion, the search is us, I just appreciate the tasks carried out by my friends," said Febri.

The search for the Visi Law office located in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, was carried out on Wednesday, March 19. From the investigation, several pieces of evidence were confiscated by investigators.

"The results of the Visi Law office search found documents and electronic evidence," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika.

It has not been detailed about the documents referred to by Tessa. However, from the information obtained, investigators confiscated legal opinion files (LO) when Febri and Rasamala became SYL's attorneys in cases of extortion and acceptance of gratuities to financial records.
