Construction Causes Congestion, LRT Jakarta Coordinates With Transportation Agency

"As is known, the Manggarai area is quite congested. Currently, we continue to coordinate with the Transportation Agency and the police to regulate traffic and reduce congestion, because the project has entered the foundation development stage," said Ramdani, Tuesday, March 18.

Overall, the progress of the construction of the Jakarta Phase 1B LRT has reached 48.97 percent. This project is targeted for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026 and is ready for use by the public.

According to Ramdani, Rawamangun Station is the most advanced in the construction process, with the roof being completed. Meanwhile, the foundation work at BPKP Scout Station, Pramuka Market, and Matraman has been completed, so the project is now continuing to the next stage.

“Kami berharap proyek ini dapat berjalan lancar hingga akhir tanpa kendala yang berarti,” tambahnya.

Pembangunan LRT Jakarta Fase 1B merupakan bagian dari transformasi Jakarta menuju kota global yang lebih ramah lingkungan dan berdaya saing tinggi.

This project is expected to increase the use of public transportation, with the target of serving 80,000 to 100,000 passengers per day through integration with Commuter Line, Microtrans, and Transjakarta Trains.
