4,000 Joint Personnel Keep Security During Eid 2025

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will hold Operation Ketupat related to securing the 2025 Eid homecoming flow. A total of 4,000 joint personnel were deployed during the operation.

"The involvement of personnel in this Ketupat Operation is approximately 4,000," said Karoops Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Tory Kristianto to reporters, Monday, March 17.

Thousands of personnel involved in Operation Ketupat with details of 3,514 from the National Police, 100 TNI personnel, and 368 personnel from the provincial government (Pemprov).

Operation Ketupat will be held for 17 days starting March 23. At this activity, thousands of personnel will help secure the implementation of the 2025 Eid Homecoming.

The context of security in question is, for example, during Eid prayers and community activities at tourist attractions.

"We will start on March 23 to April 8. The implementation of this Ketupat Operation is approximately 17 days," he said.

Thousands of these joint personnel will later be placed at security post points (pospam) and service posts (posyan) that have been mapped. It is hoped that this deployment can maintain security stability at the moment of Eid 2025.

"Everything is 100 points, namely pospam, posyan, and integrated posts," said Tory.
