504 Joint Personnel In Bogor Guards Tightening Mobility Ahead Of Prohibition Of Homecoming

BOGOR - The Task Force for Handling COVID-19 in Bogor Regency, West Java, has deployed 504 joint personnel to block vehicles in seven locations to oversee the regulations on prohibiting going home, including tightening mobility.

"The plan for personnel involved 504 people, 210 people Polri, 42 people TNI, 105 people dishub, Satpol PP 105 people, and 42 people health service," said Bogor Police Chief AKBP Harun in Cibinong, Bogor, quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 24.

According to him, the insulating posts were carried out non-stop, each guarded by three groups of personnel, so that each team could guard it alternately for 24 hours.

Harun said seven points of isolation posts were on the border, such as Puncak Bogor, Cariu, Cileungsi, Cigombong, Cibinong, Parung, and Jasinga.

Meanwhile, Bogor Regent Ade Yasin emphasized that residents outside of Jabodetabek cannot enter Bogor Regency, West Java, even though they carry a letter of the results of the antigen rapid test.

"From outside Jabodetabek, they are not allowed to enter (to Bogor), even if they bring a letter from the rapid antigen results, because there are indications that homecoming has been banned since April 22 by the central government," he said.

This is because the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force has insulated vehicles at several points to enforce the ban on going home.

"The COVID-19 Task Force has established seven checkpoints. People from Jabodetabek may enter Bogor Regency with a note that they are carrying an antigen rapid test letter," said the Head of the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force.

According to him, at the checkpoint officers will also turn back Bogor residents who want to leave the area, apart from Jadetabek at the border.

"On the other hand, we also do not allow Bogor residents to leave the Bogor area, apart from Jadetabek, to be turned back, such as to Sukabumi, Cianjur, Lebak," he said.
