JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan imposed a curfew for RTs with a red zone status or high risk zone for COVID-19 during micro PPKM.

However, until now there has been no clear socialization regarding the implementation of the curfew. Deputy Chairman of Commission E DPRD DKI Anggara Wicitra Sastroamidjojo asked Anies and the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government to immediately socialize this.

This is because there will be tens of thousands of residents whose activities will be affected due to restrictions on mobility at night.

"This has entered the second week of fasting, this rule will only be effective if it has been socialized intensively to residents. Do not cause chaos because many do not understand this rule, "Anggara told reporters, Friday, April 23.

Anggara also asked the COVID-19 Task Force at the RT level to involve community leaders and religious leaders to participate in socializing the implementation of the curfew that takes place in the month of Ramadan.

"Don't think that this rule will limit worship, but rather an effort to protect yourself and your family so that you can win together on Eid al-Fitr and avoid the Covid-19 virus," he said.

Previously, the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan issued a curfew rule against RT with red zones. The red zone is assigned to RTs that have had more than 5 cases of COVID-19 over the past 7 days. The control scenario is carried out more strictly than the other zones.

First, by finding suspected cases and close contact tracing. Then, positive patients and close contacts undergo self-isolation. Then, closing children's playgrounds and public places except for essential sectors.

RT with a red zone prohibits crowds of more than 3 people, limits entry and exit of RTs to a maximum of 20.00 WIB, and eliminates social activities in the RT that cause crowds and have the potential to cause transmission.

This applies during the micro PPKM period from April 20 to May 3, 2021 as stated in the Governor's Instruction Number 23 of 2021 concerning the Extension of the Implementation of Micro-Based PPKM at the Neighborhood Level (RT).
