JAKARTA - The Member Electoral Worker Agency (BPPA) of the Press Council has selected nine members of the Press Council for the period 2025-2028. The following are the names of nine members of the Press Council 2025-2028.

The news of the submission of the BPPA work report was submitted to the Press Council on Tuesday, March 4 at the Press Council Hall.

The minutes were submitted by the Chairman of BPPA Bambang Santoso and received by the Chairman of the Press Council, Ninik Rahayu. Present on this occasion were several members of the Press Council, namely Totok Suryanto, Asep Setiawan, Sapto Anggoro, and Deputy Chairman of the Press Council M Agung Dharmajaya (online).

On the same day, the Press Council held a plenary session. In the plenary led by Ninik Rahayu, the Press Council unanimously approved the nine members of the Press Council for the 2025-2029 period that BPPA had chosen as well as dissolved BPPA.

Ninik Rahayu on behalf of the Press Council expressed his gratitude to BPPA for working well.

BPPA has started carrying out its duties since August 2024. Before choosing nine members of the Press Council, on February 19, 2025, BPPA selected applicants to 18 candidates representing three elements (journalists, leaders of press companies, and community leaders).

Each element is represented by six candidates. Of these 18 candidates were then selected by nine members of the Press Council for the period 2025-2028.

The names of nine members of the Press Council for the 2025-2028 period will then be submitted to the State Secretariat to be stipulated in the presidential decree. The handover of positions for members of the Press Council will take place in mid-May 2025.

Elements of the leadership of the press company: 1. Dahlan Dahi 2. Totok Suryanto3. Yogi Hadi Ismanto
