Highlighting Polemic Of Termination Of Village Companion, Commission V: Must Be Clear, Can't Be Based On Likes

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission V DPR Syaiful Huda highlighted the polemic of unilateral termination of professional assistants (TPP) by the Ministry of Villages for Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Kemendes PDT).

Huda assessed that the management of professional assistants in Ministries/Institutions (K/L) including the Kemendes PDT must be based on clear key performance indicators (KPI). It can't just be based on like or dislike or dislike and dislike.

"We assess that the management of professionals in ministries/agencies should not only be based on issues of like and dislike (like and dislike) but must be based on a clear KPI. Thus, the purpose of the existence of professionals in K/L is really optimal in accordance with the purpose of their existence," said Syaiful Huda, Monday, March 3.

Commission V has held a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with members of the Association of Indonesian Village Companion Workers (Pertepedia) today. At least 100 Pertepedia representatives from all over Indonesia expressed their views on the unilateral action of the Ministry of Education and Culture who hung their fate.

According to Huda, the reason for stopping the TPP in the KemendesPDT environment is because irregular factors tend to be made up. He emphasized that there are no rules that prohibit TPP as a professional to move forward using the right to be elected and vote in the election.

"From all aspects of Legal, judging by the chronology of the advanced TPP, no candidates have been violated legally, no election disputes have been triggered by TPP. There are no warnings from Bawaslu or KPU regarding alleged violations by TPP when running for Legislative Candidates," he said.

Even from the TPP report, continued Huda, there was a response between the KPU and the Kemendes PDT which emphasized that there would be no problem if the village assistant developed as a legislative candidate in the 2024 election.

Huda said that the advancement of TPP as a legislative candidate was not only dominated by one of the political parties. From the Pertepedesia report, said Huda, the advanced TPP candidates came from cross-party sections such as PDI Perjuangan, PKB, Golkar, to Gerindra.

"Indeed, it's from across parties because so far the TPP has been running for the legislative election, there are no problems," said the PKB politician.

Therefore, Huda requested that the management of professional services such as village assistants at the Ministry of VillagesPDT, family assistants to hope at the Ministry of Social Affairs, as well as cooperative extension workers at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs be truly managed professionally. One of them is by ensuring that KPI and the clarity of the purpose of contracting professional assistants.

"We will fully support the steps taken by the TPPs affected by layoffs both politically and legally," he concluded.
