DKI DPRD Will Award The Best Council Members To The Most Popular, What Are The Prizes?

JAKARTA - The Honorary Board (BK) of the DKI Jakarta DPRD will hold a 2025 BK Award to give awards to members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, as well as several other parties with a number of categories.

Chairman of the BK DPRD DKI Jakarta Yudha Permana said, there are 7 categories that 22 people will be awarded.

In detail, 19 members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, 2 supporters (men and women) of the DKI DPRD, and one DKI Regional Work Unit (SKPD) will also receive awards.

The categories include:

1. Members of the council with the discipline of attendance and timeliness in DPRD meetings, with one person nomination for each faction and appreciation for one board leader alternately every year.

2. Performance of the best board members, with a nomination of five members of the Council.

3. The best newcomer board member, with a nomination of one board member.

4. Most popular member of the council, with the nomination of one member of the Council.

5. Member of the Inspirational Council, with a nomination of two members of the Council (Men and Women).

6. The best SKPD, with one SKPD nomination.

7. Supporting staff for the best board members, with two nominations.

"Indeed, DKI Jakarta was first held in the history of the DPRD, which we will carry out this time in 2025. This is the first time," said Yudha at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Wednesday, February 26.

Yudha said that the members of the DKI DPRD who won the award nominations would later receive a prize of IDR 25 million. However, the goods are not for personal use, but are handed over to their respective constituents.

"For example, for example, they will get wheelchairs, oxygen cylinders, table tennis, and necessities which will of course be given by the community in their respective electoral districts," explained Yudha.

Yudha explained that the assessment criteria by the DPRD BK will be prepared based on the principles of objectivity, such as calculating the presence of plenary meetings with digital and manual systems, the accuracy of submitting accountability reports (SPJ) for LHK activities and reports, to the neatness of how to dress in every activity of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

In addition, in certain categories such as the most popular DKI DPRD members, the DPRD BK will provide an assessment with another indicator, namely seeing who are the most responsive members of the legislature in voicing government issues in Jakarta through the media.

"So we will choose Council members who are the best online media, are often invited to appear in electronic media talk shows, in private and government-owned TVs, in the capacity of the diversity to answer actual issues that are of public concern," he explained.

On that occasion, Yudha emphasized that this annual awarding title was not emphasized in terms of gifts. However, the BK Award is expected to provide a stimulus for every member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD to work better, full of responsibility and professional.

"Our background is that we want to give appreciation to the members of the Council, to the supporters of the Council members, to the SKPD as the working partner of the Council members who have performed the best, because so far they have never received appreciation," said Yudha.

In this award, the assessment will begin from April to November 2025 and the implementation of the BK Award award will be held in the second week of December 2025 in the Kota Tua area, West Jakarta.
