Propam Polri Checks Cyber Members Of The Central Java Police Regarding The Sukatani Band, This Is The Result

JAKARTA - The National Police Propam examined members of the Directorate of Cyber Investigation of the Central Java Police regarding the alleged intimidation behind the Sukatani band's apology to the Police regarding the lyrics of the song entitled 'Pay Payment' which discussed police officers. As a result, no allegation was found.

"The results of the examination of clear professional members in their duties and according to their main duties," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Artanto to VOI, Saturday, February 22.

The examination of these cyber members was not carried out directly by the Police Propam Division, but was represented by the Central Java Police Propam.

The investigation steps are also to monitor the performance of Polri members so that they remain professional and accountable according to the direction of the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

"The examination from the Central Java Police Propam represents the DivPropam Police Headquarters to oversee the duties of members and convince members' professionalism in their duties and transparency in police activities," said Artanto.

Previously, it was reported that the National Police Propam examined members of the Directorate of Cyber Investigation of the Central Java Police regarding the issue of the Sukatani Band. The inspection step was conveyed through the account X @Divipropam.

"To ensure professionalism in handling this case, the Divpropam Bureauminal has examined members of the Central Java Police Ditressiber to clarify the problem. This step was taken to maintain transparency and accountability within the Police," quoted from the @Divipropam account, Friday, February 21.

The upload also conveyed the examination as a form of Polri's openness to all criticisms. Especially regarding freedom of expression in democratic society.

"We are committed to continuing to listen to input from the public and improving ourselves for better service. Thank you for your attention and support," wrote the upload.

Previously, the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, had also responded to this matter by stating that he was not anti-critic and accepting it as input for evaluation.

"The National Police is not anti-criticism, criticism as input for evaluation, in accepting criticism, of course we have to be willing and the important thing is that there are improvements and if there may be things that are not in accordance with what can be conveyed, explanations can be given, in principle the Police continue to improve to make improvements," said Sigit.
