Wearing A Komcad Uniform, Governor Zainal Follows The Retreatment Of Regional Heads At Akmil Magelang

MAGELANG - Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Zainal Arifin Paliwang took part in the retreat on February 21 to 28, 2025 at the Military Academy (Akmil) Magelang, Central Java.

The implementation of the retreat must be followed by all new regional heads appointed by President Prabowo Subianto.

Governor Zainal admitted that he was familiar with the nuances of Military Academy education because he graduated from the Armed Forces Academy of the Republic of Indonesia (AKABRI).

"I am quite familiar with the nuances of this Military Academy education, because previously I was also an alumni of AKABRI before being separated into TNI-Polri," said Zainal, Friday, February 21.

Zainal wore a spare component uniform (komcad) of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) in green strips, consisting of hats, clothes, tactical pants, and shoes.

The Military Education itself aims to increase leadership and strategic insight, strengthen synergy between the central and regional governments, increase managerial capacity and governance, strengthen character and mental resilience of regional leaders.

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto revealed that regional heads are required to follow the treatment or briefing because not all regional heads understand the principles of a clean and professional government.

In fact, this is very crucial because local governments will participate in the management of the APBD, which has a value of Rp. 1,300 trillion.

Our APBN is IDR 3,600 trillion, our APBD, the amount of money in circulation, around IDR 1,300 trillion. It must be managed properly, the principles of a clean and professional government. Not all regional heads understand too," said Bima Arya

Bima revealed that the KPK, the National Police Chief, the Attorney General, BPK, and BPKP will participate in providing briefing to ensure that the newly appointed regional heads understand the principles of a clean and professional government.
