After Being Inaugurated By The President, Zainal-Ingkong Ala Focuses On Regional Connectivity And Vision-Misi

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated 961 regional heads elected as a result of the 2024 Pilkada in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace, Jakarta on Thursday, February 20.

A number of regional heads also explained the work plans and targets that were adjusted to the vision and mission during the campaign. One of them is the pair of Governor and Deputy Governor (Deputy Governor) of North Kalimantan, Zainal A Paliwang-Inkong Ala.

Kaltara Governor Zainal A Paliwang said he did not set a 100 working day target. However, all programs will be implemented optimally.

"We are not targeting 100 working days, we will accelerate all programs with priority programs such as connectivity between regions in Kaltara," said governor Zainal, Friday, February 21.

"Such as in border and hinterland areas as well as national strategic project areas (PSN)," he continued.

Zainal emphasized that a number of development programs have been implemented, including regional development and natural resources that require a sustainable governance system.

"We just need to improve or carry out the previous program that is currently underway, our vision and mission and political promises to the people of Kaltara will be carried out," he said.

Zainal revealed that the development program in Kaltara was something that all parties had been waiting for. For this reason, the Governor of Kaltara hopes that the community will continue to oversee the development plan for the next five years.

"Please remind me if there is a development program that has not been implemented or has not gone well, this is my commitment with the Deputy Governor, Mr. Ingkong Ala," said Zainal.

The Deputy Governor of Kaltara, Ingkong Ala, said the same thing, he and the governor and regional apparatus organizations (OPD) will hold a meeting to accelerate a number of programs in accordance with the regional head's vision and mission.

"All OPDs must be in line with the vision and mission of regional heads, and must understand the duties of each OPD. This is the first thing we will do first," said Inkong Ala.

"The mission vision will run well if the OPD is able to work, it is clear that each of the main tasks. Moreover, the Governor already has a development priority program that must be realized by the relevant OPD," he said.

Ingkong Ala said President Prabowo also emphasized the public service that must be pro-people.

"The President wants services to the community to be carried out properly, I and the governor have a joint commitment to prioritize the interests of the community," he said.
