JK Mourns The Death Of Former MenPANRB Syafruddin

JAKARTA - The 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) mourned the death of former PANRB Minister for the 2018-2019 period as well as Deputy Chief of Police (Ret.) Syafruddin Kambo.

"Innalillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un. We just heard the news of the late Komjen Pol. Syafruddin Kambo left us all at around half past six this afternoon," said JK in his statement quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 20.

JK claimed to have many memories with Syafruddin. Moreover, Syafruddin was a personal aide for five years when he served as the first vice president to accompany Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).

According to him, Syafruddin is a very good person in carrying out his duties.

"He is very authoritative and as long as he is active he carries out his duties as well as possible and is good with anyone," he said.

Syafruddin's kindness did not stop there. The reason is, entering retirement, this Mandar son does not remain silent. "After retiring, he actively takes care of social, religious and recitation," explained JK.

"Let's read out the al fatihah for him, hopefully Husnulkhatimah," he continued.

Komjen (Ret.) Syafruddin died at the Pertamina Central Hospital, South Jakarta. He died at 18.14 WIB due to illness.
