Former NTB Governor TGB Zainul Majdi Examined By The Prosecutor's Office For NCC Corruption

The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office acknowledged that there was an examination of former NTB Governor Muhammad Zainul Majdi regarding the alleged corruption case in cooperation in the management of government assets in the form of land for the construction of the NTB Convention Center (NCC) building.

"I just received information today that last Thursday (13/2) there was indeed an examination by the former Governor of NTB," said NTB Attorney General Efrien Saputera as reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 14.

Investigators conducted an examination of the former NTB Governor who is familiar with the greeting of Mr. Guru Bajang alias TGB in the capacity of witnesses.

"He has been examined since Thursday afternoon (13/2), examined as a witness," he said.

In handling this case, the prosecutor's office has named two suspects. First, the suspect with the initials DS, Director of PT Lombok Plaza who served for the 2012 period 2016.

The second suspect named Thursday (13/2), is former NTB Provincial Secretary Rosiady Husaerie Sayuti.

The Prosecutor's Office confirmed that the loss occurred during the cooperation period of PT Lombok Plaza as the manager of assets belonging to the NTB Provincial Government in 2012 '2016.

However, cooperation in the use of assets did not run as stated in the 2012 agreement. PT Lombok Plaza was recorded as not carrying out its obligations.

In addition to the construction of buildings that have never been implemented and compensation for the NTB Regional Health Laboratory (Labkesda) building, PT Lombok Plaza also did not deposit payment compensation to the NTB Provincial Government.
