The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that the summons of the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto as a suspect in the alleged bribery in the management of interim replacement (PAW) and the obstruction of the investigation was only a matter of time.
This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika when asked about the decision of the South Jakarta District Court (PN) Tunggal Judge Djumyanto who did not accept Hasto's pretrial. Tessa said the summons was waiting for investigators' readiness.
"For the plan to summon if investigators have considered all witnesses and all evidence in order to fulfill the evidence of the HK, of course, they will be summoned as suspects," said Tessa to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, February 13.
As for the decision quoted by Djumyanto, the anti-corruption commission expressed its appreciation. The sole judge is said to have been objective in deciding because the determination of the suspect Hasto was carried out according to the procedure.
"KPK is always guided by the applicable legal procedures and rules in determining someone as a suspect, including in the KPU bribery case and the case of obstructing investigations," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.
"In the future, of course, this investigation process will continue in accordance with the focus on fulfilling the elements of the case that will be carried out by investigators," continued Tessa.

Previously reported, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto filed a pretrial against the KPK after being named a suspect in the bribery case for the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the DPR RI and the obstruction of the investigation. The lawsuit was later not accepted by the South Jakarta District Court Tunggal Judge Djumyanto.
"To try, grant the exception of the respondent, declare the petitioner's petition to run away or it is not clear," said Judge Djuyamto during a hearing at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday.
In their consideration, Djuyamto granted the exception submitted by the KPK which objected to the argument of Hasto's lawsuit which objected to the two investigation warrants.
According to the judge, Hasto's petition should have been submitted in two forms of pretrial lawsuit.
"With the absence of this pretrial, Hasto's suspect status by the KPK is legal. "Declare that the applicant's pretrial application is not accepted," said Djuyamto.
