DKI DPRD Forms 5 Special Committees In 2025, Here Are The Details

The five special committees are the Raperda Special Committee for the Management of Regional Property, the Special Committee for the Raperda of the Utilities Network, the Special Committee for the Raperda of Non-Smoking Areas, the Raperda Special Committee for the Implementation of Education, and the Special Committee for the Implementation of Legal Aid.

Deputy Chairman of the Bamus DPRD DKI Jakarta, Rany Mauliani, said that the formation of the five special committees would be ratified in a plenary meeting at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

"Later, the formation will be scheduled in the faction and will be completed in conjunction with the plenary recess results," Rani said on Wednesday, February 12.

Later, this special committee will explore the problems that will be regulated in each draft regional regulation (perda). Ahead of the ratification of the formation of the special committee, Rani asked all factions to prepare the names of its members to become members of the special committee according to the composition of the number of seat acquisitions.

"So, today is like opening faction friends so that they can arrange the composition of their members in their respective factions who will join the five Special Committees," said Rany.

Rani berharap, lima pansus tersebut dapat segera bekerja optimal selama tenggat waktu tiga bulan usai diumumkan dalam rapat Paripurna.

Meski begitu, Rani mengaku ada kemungkinan perpanjangan waktu masa kerja bila hasil rekomendasi pansus belum komprehensif.

"So that later we can form another special committee, if it is needed to solve problems in other fields," said Rany.
