The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has coordinated with the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) to investigate allegations of Money Laundering (TPPU) related to the sea fence in Tangerang.

The Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro, stated that the cooperation between the two institutions was ongoing to seek clues and evidence regarding the allegation.

"Yes, we have coordinated with PPATK, while the results are still in process, of course it will be soon," said Djuhandani to reporters on Tuesday, February 11.

However, Djuhandani revealed that for now he has not been able to provide temporary results regarding the TPPU investigation because the deepening process is still being carried out.

"If the results are later, we cannot calculate when the time will be finished, because it is still a process from PPATK," he added.

Regarding the case of the sea fence, Bareskrim is also investigating allegations of deed forgery, including building rights certificates (SHGB) and title certificates (SHM). The status of this case has been raised to the investigation stage.

As part of the investigation process, investigators have examined 44 witnesses, including the Head of Kohod Village, Arsin. From the examination, it was found that there was a mode of deed forgery carried out by the reported party, Arsin, and several other parties who collaborated to make a fake deed to be used in the application for recognition of rights.

"Investigators also get a modus operandi where the reported party and friends use fake letters in requests for measurement and application for recognition of rights to the Tangerang Regency land office," said Djuhandani.
