Ten Teenagers Involved In Brawls Arrested By Police, Four Sickle Bars Confiscated

Ten teenagers involved in a brawl were arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team (TP3) on Jalan Semeru, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, Sunday, February 9, 2025.

In addition, officers also confiscated four sharp weapons of the type of sickle used in the brawl.

Head of Samapta Polres Metro West Jakarta, AKBP M. Hari Agung Julianto, said the arrests of the 10 teenagers began when Team 1 TP3 carried out patrols of public order disturbances.

The police received reports of a group of youths involved in a brawl using sharp weapons at the scene.

"Then the team moved to the location. We found a group of youths who were involved in a brawl carrying sharp weapons," said AKBP Agung when confirmed, Sunday, February 9, evening.

The TP3 team immediately gave chase and arrest. The TP3 team also succeeded in dismissing and securing the youth group.

After making the arrest, the police also conducted a search at the scene to ensure that no one had fled.

"All the teenagers who were arrested were then taken to the Grogol Petamburan Police for examination," he said.

Furthermore, AKBP Agung said that anticipatory patrols would continue to be carried out to prevent brawls and other criminal acts.

"We are committed to maintaining public security and order. Routine patrols will continue to be intensified so that actions like this do not happen again," he said.
